My Films

“Life is nothing if you are not obsessed,”

John Waters wrote in Pecker.

Working in verité, I have become deeply obsessed with my subjects from the cult classic Showgirls for You Don’t Nomi to the many iterations of Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz for It’s Dorothy!. My film work shows the depth and obsession of my research and guest booking.

Since Dorothy Gale started her epic journey down the Yellow Brick Road 125 years ago in L. Frank Baum’s The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, she’s become a celebrity, a brand, and a beacon for marginalized voices across our culture. IT’S DOROTHY! brings her timeless adventures in Oz to life through the human experiences of a new generation of star performers, infused with the spirit and influence of Judy Garland and more.

With a chorus of cultural icons, unforgettable music, and a magical remix of archival and cinematic art, this film centers the perspectives of women, people of color, and LGBTQ+ voices. Exploring the meaning and evolution of a cherished character through the eras, we celebrate Dorothy as an enduring symbol of hope and a touchstone in our universal quest to fly over the rainbow and find home again.

The Flying Fercos

The Flying Fercos is a gripping 90-minute documentary that follows a family who didn’t just perform with wild animals—they lived with over 20 lions, tigers, and panthers in their home. From childhood acrobats to world-famous illusionists, the Fercos dazzled audiences for over 60 years before their empire came crashing down.

Featuring never-before-seen footage, this film reveals the wild highs and heartbreaking lows of a family who risked everything to thrill the world. It’s a shocking, emotional, and unforgettable look at the cost of ambition, legacy, and life on the edge.

You Don't Nomi

You Don't Nomi is a 2019 American documentary film that details the history of the 1995 erotic drama film Showgirls. The documentary is directed by Jeffrey McHale and it features the original cast of the film (in archive footage). It premiered on 27 April 2019 at the Tribeca Film Festival, and upon release it was met with positive feedback from the critics. The film was nominated for Ad Hoc Docs Competition category at the Cleveland International Film Festival.

Field Production / Non Fiction

As a veteran news network news producer, working with non-fiction content is my life's passion.

Dr. Phil on CBS Television Distribution

As a WGA Senior Writer/Producer for CBS, I wrote & produced 49 episodes of Dr. Phil while the show was the highest rated program in daytime. Two of my bookings led to feature length documentaries. Of note, I am the only producer who ever booked cult leader Amy Carlson of Love Has Won.

Dr. Phil on CBS Television Distribution

One of my most viral episodes of Dr. Phil was my iconic guest who said he was Batman and never wanted to be seen without a mask.

TechKnow Sizzle Reel

TechKnow was a field based weekly science news program that combined science and technology with how advances will impact humanity filmed on location throughout the world.

TechKnow Katrina Special

TechKnow Katrina Special shows how nature and science could possibly work together to prevent another Katrina by preserving the wetlands.

The Martian

The Martian examines the real JPL scientists who inspired Matt Damon to head to Mars.
